Until 5th June 2016 our Still Life of Tulips and other Flowers by Van der Ast is on loan to an exhibition at the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum in Aachen.  The first show devoted to this important Dutch flower painter, More beautiful than nature: the Still Lifes of Balthasar van der Ast (1593/94-1657) explores the artist’s oeuvre through 40 of his best works.
